Of the three flavours, the rum is the clear winner. It makes a pretty enjoyable non-alcoholic mai tai. I found the gins both had a peppery flavour I don't love, especially in the raspberry gin.
I really enjoy the traditional gin and Raspberry gin alternatives with tonic and lime. I found the Rum alternative to be on the sweet side but may be perfect in a daiquiri or other cocktail.
I would not say that these are an *excellent* substitute for alcoholic spirits, but they are the best I've used so far!
The botanical blends do not have the same punch as gin, and so, can be overpowered by stronger ingredients in a mixed drink. However, they do add a lovely layer of complexity to lighter mocktails and summer punches.
The spiced cane is a little heavy on the sweet coffee/cocoa notes, but otherwise, makes a good substitute for spiced rum where sweet warm spices are desired. It would be a little too sweet for some rum cocktails, but is generally a good choice, especially to add to coffee or cola!
Really enjoying the Fluère drinks. We have tried all three. Last night I made a "rum" mojito and it was very much like the real thing. Great for adults who want an adult drink without the alcohol. These are the best non alcohol spirits we have tried so far.
